We work tirelessly on a wide range of environmental issues, locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally. As a stable and independent organization, we engage in active, effective, and ongoing environmental protection efforts against skeptical politicians and established sources of pollution.

Each year, 8-12 million tons of plastic end up in the world's oceans, and the waste that washes up along our coast is a visible sign of this issue. Since 2017, the Environmental Protection Association has removed over 250 tons of trash from Norwegian beaches.

FIsh farming

Open fish farms place too much strain on all other life in the fjord to be a sustainable future solution. We aim to inform consumers about the consequences of current aquaculture practices in open systems.

70 years ago during world war two the german submarine U-864 sank after a three hour long battle against the british sub HMS Venturer. U-864 which was carrying more than 60 tons of mercury sank into the deep outside of Vestland.
