The salmon report submitted to the Norwegian Food Safety Authority and the National Audit Office

The Norwegian Environmental Protection Association has today, 2 May 2019, handed over the Salmon Report to the director of the Norwegian Food Safety Authority, Harald Gjein, and to the National Audit Office through auditor-general Per-Kristian Foss.

The salmon report is the result of three years of work, and several thousand working hours. The report represents the best we have in research, environmental understanding and conscience. The entire report, apart from inheritance and genetics, has been read and approved by Erik Slinde, former director of research at the Institute of Marine Research.
