The Norwegian Environmental Protection Association works to safeguard your privacy when you use our services. That is why we have drawn up this privacy statement for how your personal data is processed and protected.
This privacy policy only applies to the Norwegian Environmental Protection Association's members, subscribers and users of online services.

We will only keep your information for as long as it is necessary to perform the above services, or for as long as the law requires us to keep it. After this, your personal data will be deleted.
What rights do you have?
You have the right to request information about the personal data we hold about you at any time. If the information is incorrect, incomplete or irrelevant, you can request that the information be corrected or removed. We cannot remove your information if there are statutory requirements for it to be stored, such as e.g. accounting rules or other legitimate reason for retaining the information, such as e.g. outstanding debts or you still have formal positions or tasks in the organisation. Who has access to your personal information?
Your information may be shared within the Norwegian Environmental Protection Association. We never pass on/sell/exchange your information to third parties for marketing purposes. in connection with the delivery of goods, media agencies for the distribution of newsletters and credit information or collection agencies in connection with credit assessment, identity control and debt collection.
How do we protect your personal data?
We have implemented technical and organizational measures to protect your information so that it does not disappear, is manipulated or that unauthorized persons gain access to it. We continuously adapt the security measures to technological developments. In order for card purchases to be as secure as possible with us, all information is sent in encrypted form. This means that the information passes through a secure connection and that your personal information cannot be read by external parties. For card purchases, we work with an authorized payment intermediary who helps us check that the card is valid for purchases directly from your bank. Our payment intermediary processes the card information correctly in accordance with the international security standard PCI DSS which the card companies VISA and MasterCard stand behind. This means that your card details are handled in a very secure way. When you shop with a card, we reserve the right to carry out an identity check.
Cookies
A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer or mobile device and retrieved from there on subsequent visits. The Norwegian Environmental Protection Association uses cookies to improve and simplify your visit. We do not use cookies to store personal information or to provide information to third parties.
There are two different types of cookies, permanent and temporary (session cookies). Permanent cookies are stored as a file on your computer or mobile for a period of time of no more than 12 months. Session cookies are temporary and disappear when you close your browser session. We use permanent cookies to store your choice of home page.

We use cookies for third parties to collect statistics in aggregated form using analysis tools such as Google Analytics, we also use cookies from Facebook that track activity between our websites as we have comment fields from Facebook, WordPress which is our tool for editing the website has also cookies on our website for storing preferences and tracking your session on our website, the last ones we have cookies from are MailChimp which are used for statistics.
