Local campaigners together with NMF yesterday, Thursday 23 May, stopped a logging machine from doing its work in preparation for road construction in the planning area. The action went peacefully and NMF and the local campaigners are now working to set up a guard system for the weekend and into next week. On Monday, the municipal council will consider the matter of the councilor's recommendation again.
Today, SV top in the municipality states that they want to stop the work and point out that there must be new rounds in the municipal licensing system.
