The Norwegian Environmental Protection Association is appealing the Trøndelag Police District's decision to submit the report regarding illegal dumping of by-catch in the Trondheimsfjord to the State Attorney in Trøndelag.
NMF believes that the Police in Trøndelag have not carried out the necessary questioning of the crew and captain on board the boats suspected of illegal dumping of by-catch and demands that the case be reopened. The NMF further demands that the Police in Trøndelag must deploy greater resources to solve the case.
