The Danish Environmental Protection Association praises the government for choosing Listhaug as the new oil and energy minister

This was a good and correct move by the Prime Minister.

The wind power case has blown up into a storm across the country. Old licenses with an old and inadequate knowledge base have put some pressure on the population and created unsustainable situations in countless local communities around the whole country.

The current wind power policy could not continue. This change of minister is therefore very positive. Listhaug is the right person to clean up wind power.

We look forward to this being the start of a necessary slowdown and turnaround.

The Environmental Protection Association will continue to follow up the authorities as the environment's watchdog and make sure that we get Norwegian administrative policy on the right track...
