The Norwegian Environment Protection Association reports Osland Havbruk

The Norwegian Environment Protection Association reports Osland Havbruk for illegal use of the lice poison Diflubenzuron near shrimp fields at the Bjønnspjotneset location in Høyanger municipality.

In 4 cases, Osland Havbruk has used Flubenzuron near a shrimp field after new regulations came from the Ministry of Fisheries stating that it is not legal to use such lice poisons closer than 1,000 meters from a shrimp field. NMF suspects that this is only the tip of the iceberg, and will follow up with more reviews of farming companies that break the new regulations. As you can see in the picture from Barentswatch.no, Osland Havbruk is located close to a shrimp field.
